A Note from Loise

I know how important it is to feel comfortable with the person caring for someone you love. As a mother of a child with special needs, I understand the trust that comes with allowing someone into your family’s life and into your home.

For me, caregiving is personal. I believe in taking the time to get to know the person I am caring for their personality, their routine, what they enjoy, and what makes them comfortable. I want the people I care for to feel respected, heard, and cared for as individuals.

I view caregiving not just as a job, but as a calling. My own experience with my daughter has taught me patience, understanding, and the importance of meeting each person where they are.

I also understand that caring for a loved one can be a lot for one person or one family to manage. Sometimes you just need a little extra help whether that means providing companionship, helping with daily routines, preparing meals, doing some housework, or giving a family caregiver some time to rest.

For me, it is about being there, lending a helping hand, and making someone’s day a little easier.
